Innovators of
Tomorrow

"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today."  - Malcolm X

Unfairly Judged.

According to the UNCF, research shows that teachers are more likely to have lower expectations for Black students than non-Black students

Break Down the Stereotypes.

Stereotypes attempt to diminish the great potential African Americans have. Why not create a different mindset. Here are some tips:

Being academically proficient takes dedication. Set goals for yourself and do your best to achieve them. Be sure to always ask questions when you are unsure.

Feel like your teacher is unfairly judging you? Do not focus on their demeaning comments. Focus on your goals. You have a world of possibilities within your grasp you just have to have the courage and fortitude to reach out and grasp it.
